William A. & Ami Kaun Danoff Life Sciences Laboratories

The William A. and Ami Kuan Danoff Life Sciences Laboratories, a design-build project, is a new 300,000 SF, 7-story facility that will provide state-of-the-art labs and workspace for interdisciplinary research in brain science, cancer, and biomedical engineering, among other disciplines. Key features include redundancy and dual electric humidifiers connected to the emergency power system, ensuring reliable operations. The facility is designed to support close partnerships with scientists and physicians at Brown’s Warren Alpert Medical School, the School of Public Health, the School of Engineering, and affiliated hospital partners. The Danoff Laboratories are poised to catalyze breakthroughs in research on the most important challenges facing human health and will not only expand the University’s cutting-edge facilities but also activate the public realm in a growing mixed-use neighborhood.
