Renovating the Science Center to create a campus ‘innovation hub’

The goal of the renovated Science Center was to build a campus ‘innovation hub’ complete with new classrooms, offices, research facilities, and teaching laboratories. The first phase of new construction involved the renovation of the Science Center’s L-Wing and campus greenhouses. Phase two included the demolition of Sage Hall. In addition to project management, CSL provided client services and mitigation support for Science Building renovation, which included the implementation of a communication plan to keep all stakeholders informed throughout the project, providing project updates for Wellesley’s website, and developing a branded signage package to ensure that students and faculty could easily navigate the campus during construction.
