Renovating the Science Center to create a campus ‘innovation hub’
The goal of the renovated Science Center was to build a campus ‘innovation hub’ complete with new classrooms, offices, research facilities, and teaching laboratories.
The first phase of construction involved the renovation of the Science Center’s L-Wing and campus greenhouses. Phase two included the demolition of Sage Hall.
In addition to project management, CSL provided mitigation support for Science Building renovation, which included the implementation of a communication plan to keep all stakeholders informed throughout the project, providing project updates for Wellesley’s website, and developing a branded signage package to ensure that students and faculty could easily navigate the campus during construction.
