Using interdisciplinary collaboration in burgeoning work environment.

Novartis developed a new campus of lab, office, and retail space, fostering an ideal work environment for interdisciplinary collaboration. This project not only created a connection between Kendall Square and Central Square but also brought vibrancy to the area with ample green space, a pedestrian connection, and street-level retail space. CSL managed construction mitigation by working closely with institutions, local residents, internal staff, contractors, political/civic leaders, public works, and other stakeholders to facilitate communication, enforce agreements, and reduce the negative impacts construction created. CSL prioritized client relations by proactively solving construction-related issues through regular job site monitoring and engaging the community with innovative communication tools.
