CYTIVA PROJECT FALCON
Cytiva’s Project Falcon covered the construction and fitout of 277,000sf for the manufacturing of single-use and filtrations technologies. The project included administrative, training, production, and support areas. The production suites are ISO-7 in operation / ISO-5 flexible manufacturing areas with process utilities including compressed air and multi-voltage bus systems to support process equipment. ISO-8 & ISO-7 gowning, kitting, and preparation areas support the production suites. Total ISO classified square footage is 60,000sf. Based on the mission critical function of the manufacturing and ISO cleanroom requirements the design includes over 10mw of redundant power and critical electrical switchgear, supporting over 2,050 tons of cooling capacity.
CSL worked directly for the owner on this project, acting as Cytiva’s Owner’s Representative overseeing both design and construction, including coordination and development of project governance, review of RFP responses, attendance at weekly owner, design, and construction meetings, regular site visits and field reports, Construction Manager requisition review, schedule review, creation and management of the project risk log, change order reviews, overall project controls, communication and executive reporting, and overseeing the owner’s closeout requirements.
