Preserving a heritage organization with attention to historic detail.

CSL worked with Historic New England – the oldest and largest regional heritage organization in the nation – on the master planning and historic preservation of Eustis Estate in Milton, MA. One of the main challenges of this renovation project was the need to balance preserving the property’s original architectural features with accommodating modern needs for visitor services, accessibility, and administrative support. The spaces renovated include the Gate House, House Museum, and a garage converted to a Welcome Center.
